The primary reason
I love working at Hartford Seminary is that respect for academic
rigor and freedom exists side by side with respect for religious
belief and expression.
This is not the experience of many
students and faculty in secular universities. At the same time,
we all need space, away from the daily concerns of our religious
communities, where we can reflect upon the challenges we face.
Hartford Seminary is a great place to achieve this balance.
