Seminary represents to me an exciting venture into the kind of
theological education that is crucial to a new century and a rapidly
changing world. It encourages conversation across lines of race,
gender and religious diversity, and provides students, staff and
faculty with the resources to be able to carry on these conversations.
For me personally, to teach classes in which Christians and Muslims
engage and can learn from as well as about each other is both
enriching and challenging. I don’t know of another theological
school that provides this rich opportunity.
