Hartford Seminary is a unique institution that offers not only an education - but an opportunity to know God through a vast array of cultural, theological and spiritual experiences.
While at Hartford Seminary, I've worshipped with Christian, Jewish and Muslim students - in a church, synagogue and mosque - all through the Building Abrahamic Partnerships program. In the Women's Leadership Institute, I spent intensely spiritual weekends with 30 other women - sharing our faith and life experiences, while at the same time learning the beauty and strength that comes with feminist theology.
Through my broad range of coursework, I've engaged in dialogue with men and women from many different countries and many different faiths, strengthening my deep belief that there are many paths to God. Finally, I've come to understand that spirituality is more about one's own unique connection to the Divine - and not just the practice of one's religion.
Hartford Seminary will always be the place for me.
