Dr. Robert Evans, Dr. Alice Evans and Phoebe Milliken of Plowshares Institute will guide this daylong workshop. Plowshares has been organizing and leading transformative travel seminars to Africa, Asia, Europe and South America for more than 30 years with participants ranging in age from teenagers to octogenarians.
Anyone planning a trip for a school, congregation or group can attend. This workshop is applicable to both education and service trips.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Hartford Seminary’s Macdonald Center, 60 Lorraine St., Hartford, CT. The cost is $60 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Please note: Registration closes on April 14.
