If you are an Islamic Chaplaincy student or alumna looking for employment, or someone who is interested in studying at Hartford Seminary to become a Muslim chaplain, the Islamic Chaplaincy Career Day is an event you won't want to miss!
Our one-day program will host presentations on our accredited Islamic Chaplaincy Program & on the four professional areas that currently hire Muslim Chaplains: prisons, the armed forces, universities and hospitals. In the morning there will be a resume writing workshop, info on religious endorsement and chaplaincy recruiters from the U.S. Navy, National Guard and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
After Zuhr prayer and lunch on our campus we will host a panel of supervisors, employers and currently employed Muslim chaplains to talk about their particular fields of chaplaincy and to answer your questions. Following this, we will provide space for recruiters to display materials and the opportunity to meet and mingle with you.

If you will fly into Hartford for this one-day event, we can provide transportation to and from Bradley International Airport at no cost. Please book your flights to arrive on Tuesday April 28th between 12:00 (Noon) and 7: 00 PM, and depart on Wednesday April 29th after 6:30 PM to receive this free service.
