Connecticut Jewish Ledger Features Hartford Seminary Outreach, New Hires

The Connecticut Jewish Ledger published a comprehensive package of articles about Hartford Seminary in its April 18 edition, both online and in print.

The first story — Hartford Seminary Reaches Out to Connecticut’s Jewish Community — highlights Hartford Seminary’s push to recruit more Jewish students. The Seminary has long been known for its expertise in Christian-Muslim relations, but has been working to increase representation for the third leg of the Abrahamic stool.

The second story — Hartford Seminary’s New Jewish Studies Prof Finds the Local Jewish Community Warm and Welcoming (But Will Someone Turn on the Heat?) — focuses on Dr. Deena Grant, Associate Professor of Jewish Studies and holder of the Jewish Studies Chair.

The third story —  Joel N. Lohr: Hartford Seminary’s Next President — is the announcement that Dr. Joel Lohr will replace President Heidi Hadsell, who is retiring.
