President Heidi Hadsell moderated and served on several panels last month at the 2018 annual conference of the International Council of Christians and Jews (ICCJ) in Budapest, Hungary.
This year’s conference theme was: “Towards Reconciliation in a Broken World: Jewish and Christian Contributions to Responsible Citizenship.”
The panel President Hadsell moderated was called “How Can I find God in the ‘Other’? Towards Responsible Religious Belonging.” This interfaith dialogical panel included Hartford Seminary alum Elena Dini of Italy, as well as Dr. Klara Anwar, Dr. Marta Cserhati, Rabbi Dr. Reuven Firestone and Dr. Mohammad Hannan Hassan.
She also served on a panel organized by the ICCJ’s International Abrahamic Forum called “Responsible Citizenship in Multireligious Societies: Jewish, Christian and Muslim Multi-Cultural Experiences.” Included on that panel were alums Elena Dini and Morteza Rezazadeh of Iran.
