Workshop: Introduction to Storytelling with Terry Wolfisch Cole

Whether you want to tell your story on stage, in a business meeting, or with your children or grandchildren on your lap, storyteller Terry Wolfisch Cole will teach you skills to engage any audience. At this workshop, you’ll learn tips and tricks for effective storytelling. You’ll have opportunities to discover your stories (yes, interesting things have happened to you!), to select one to craft one for performance, and to practice telling it in front of the group. Please bring paper and pen to class.

The fee for this two-hour workshop is $15;Register button free for Hartford Seminary students.

Terry Wolfisch Cole is the founder of Tell Me Another, a series of storytelling workshops and shows in the Hartford area. She began telling stories on stage with an unexpected win at her first Moth StorySLAM in 2016, and followed it with a GrandSLAM win. Since then, she’s told stories on East Coast stages from Vermont to Florida. Terry has been featured on the Moth Radio Hour and Risk! podcasts. She wears many hats, including writer, yogi, baker, wife, mother, expat New Yorker, enthusiastic Springsteen fan, and competitive mah jongg player.
